Indigo Dye Workshop
Join us for a Saturday morning learning how to use indigo to make beautiful tea towels!
Local maker, Carolyn Dzoba, will teach you about the magic of indigo dye and help you create beautiful traditional SC tea towels. You’ll have a choice of using a stencil to create a special Lake Murray or SC design or learning Shibori techniques to create unique patterns.
Each participant will test out their techniques on an 18x21 quilting cotton square and 1 cotton tea towel for their final project.
Come ready to get a little messy as you learn to dip your creations in vats of indigo and watch your creations come to life.
