Art Class Details

Wednesdays February 12th - Wednesday May 7th

4:00 pm - 5:15 pm

We believe that everyone has been given a unique and important set of skills, this class is a chance to help them get their creative juices flowing and inspire a love for creating in many ways! With projects ranging from tie-dye, paper mache, painting, and photography they will have a chance to try out multiple mediums while also focusing on art history and local artists in just 12 weeks. At the end of the semester, we plan to celebrate their creations with a special art show that we will ask parents and loved ones to attend.

*Wednesday, May 7th, will be our final exhibit, where we display work created by our up-and-coming artists throughout the semester. They will have the chance to tell you everything they have learned, so please invite family members to their final show. More information will be sent out at the end of our semester.

During our mini-camp each student will learn watercolor and paper mache and leave at the end of the day with multiple works of art.

Come learn how to make your very own 13” paper maché Christmas Tree!

Join Swirls and Script Calligraphy for a Holiday-themed Beginners Calligraphy Class! Whether you are just looking for a fun night out with friends or a new hobby this class is perfect for those looking to learn the basics of Modern Calligraphy. This class will teach you the basics of using a Brush Pen to create beautiful calligraphy writing to add that special touch to any project. This class is perfect for anyone who has never taken a calligraphy class before or needs a refresher from learning calligraphy in the past! 

In this class you will learn all about how to hold your pen, basic strokes and letter formation!  The class is 2 hours long and includes 2 brush markers, a brush calligraphy workbook, and practice pages all for you to take home! We will also be lettering on an Ornament at the end of our class time for you to take home to decorate your tree!

Join us for a Saturday morning learning how to use indigo to make a beautiful silk scarf just In time for the holidays!

Local maker, Carolyn Dzoba, will teach you about the magic of indigo dye and help you create beautiful scarves. You’ll be able to choose the technique for your scarf from 1 of 3 popular Indigo dye techniques. There will be a choice of tied shibori, arashi or itajime techniques.

Come ready to get a little messy as you learn to dip your creations in vats of indigo and watch your creations come to life.

Fall Break Mini Camp

October 14th

9 am - 12 pm

We believe that everyone has been given a unique and important set of skills, this camp is a chance to help them get their creative juices flowing and inspire a love for creating in many ways! During our mini-camp, each student will learn watercolor, paper mache, and more then leave at the end of the day with multiple works of art.

Fall is here and it’s time to pull out the pumpkins!

Join us for a fall watercolor class where you will learn to paint 2 different styles of watercolor pumpkins. You’ll learn to paint a traditional orange pumpkin and a blue heirloom pumpkin both on 5x7 sheets of watercolor paper.
