The Art of Wining & Dining vol. 1
Artist:Bruce Nellsmith
“Making art is not my way of reaching out to the world, rather, it is my way of deciphering and taking the world in. I am fully aware that I romanticize my subjects. This is because I am seeking more than a transcription of what lies before me. I seek the truest and most direct path to what attracted me to the subject in the beginning. I am unapologetically drawn to beauty, but in my defense, there is -John Keats's "Ode on a Grecian Urn": "Beauty is truth, truth beauty". Generally, I am in pursuit of poetry in paint.”
